It is our hope, with your help and support, to continue to provide
our Students with encouragement as well as
assist them in planning Programs & Events which will augment
and enrich their High School experience.

"Spirit" items including baseball caps with the "Dragon" logo,

and a "Cornwall Dragons" blanket for Pre-Order.

Here, are some of the projects we have implemented
in the past and plan to continue this school year.

Birthday Cards
We began distributing Birthday Cards to Cornwall High students
as they turned age sixteen in January 2006.
The birthday greeting included a message wishing them safe passage
as they embark on this new stage in their life’s journey.
Our Principal, Dr. Sheboy, delivered them personally.
We hope to resume this tradition by January.

Alumni Day
The P.T.S.O. participated in this tradition again this year by donating
a Sheet Cake welcoming back our Alumni when they returned
to Cornwall High at Thanksgiving.

Project Safe Graduation
We will continue in our support for Project Safe Graduation this year.

Organic Garden Project ~ From Seed to Table
The Organic Garden Project began Spring 2006 at the High School.
The P.T.S.O. is an enthusiastic supporter of this wonderful endeavor.
The mission of the project is to create and sustain an organic garden
that is wholly integrated into the school's curriculum and lunch program.
It involves the students in all aspects of the garden as a means of increasing awareness
and appreciation of the values of nourishment, community, and stewardship of the land.
This interdisciplinary approach to education will attract and maintain student interest
as the garden continues to grow and evolve over time.

Join the P.T.S.O.! Membership is $10.00 for Parents & Teachers
free to Students, with additional donations always welcome!
Your membership will enable the P.T.S.O. to continue to enhance and enrich
the Students' learning environment in the High School.
This year the Students will be more involved than ever in their P.T.S.O.
we are planning monthly afterschool meetings
where they will take on a lead role in the planning and conducting of events.
We believe that, although our children have entered High School,
we should continue to offer ever-important parental support
to our most precious resource.
We do so, while also showing them, by our example,
the value in giving of our time as volunteers.
